They should appear again when the app is restarted but may vanished when dragged further. If ArtRage is positioned on a secondary monitor laid out to the right of the primary monitor floating panels dragged to the primary monitor may vanish during drag. One other issue can occur with multi-monitor systems.

We have been researching this and at this point it appears to be an OS level problem. In situations where you have more than one monitor on your computer, and the external monitor is set to be laid out to the right of the main monitor, and ArtRage is launched on the main monitor, panels that appear at the right hand side of the ArtRage window such as Layers and Swatches may not appear when opened. We received some reports of problems running ArtRage Studio Pro on OS X 10.9 Mavericks and we've just released an update that should address this. Update: We released a second update on November 2 to address a problem that caused floating panels to move when using controls inside them.
